Czech Republic
Since the collapse of Communism in 1989, the Czech Republic (formerly part of Czechoslovakia) has been high on the list of ‘must-see’ destinations in Europe. Enjoying an ideal geographic position in the center of Europe, the country is easily accessible and this, together with its highly-educated labor force has attracted billions of dollars in investment from many of the world’s most renowned companies.
Additionally, Prague with its beautifully preserved city center has driven a boom in inbound tourism which has generated much wealth for the capital city. While many of the hardest economic and political reforms have been made already, in some ways, the Czech Republic is still a country in transition, undergoing a profound social shift which is uniquely evidenced through interactions with local managers, journalists and entrepreneurs.
