India is undergoing a profound transformation, ignited by WTO accession in 1995 and the extensive reforms of that decade. Though still very much a developing country, India offers visitors unparalleled hospitality and service, as well as a startling range of cultural and business activities. The energy, spirituality, entrepreneurial approach and optimism of the country‘s rapidly expanding middle and upper classes is testament to the shared vision of a fully developed and wealthy sub-continent.

With its highly educated, primarily English speaking workforce and a domestic market in excess of 1 billion people, India provides significant competition for China in attracting foreign investment. With further reforms planned to upgrade the country’s worn-out infrastructure system and to cut down on government bureaucracy, India’s promise is very bright.
