ISP has designed over 2,600 unique learning experiences for our clients for more than 25 years. In that time, we’ve learned how to adapt to the changing needs of universities and students, alike, ensuring the events we design are fresh, relevant and impactful.

Experience
Gain direct experience from the local business environment

Company visits include meeting with managers whose customized presentations cover a variety of company and industry-specific topics. The presentation is typically followed by an open discussion and a tour of the company’s premises. In many cases, it is possible to incorporate a mini case study or a brainstorming session into the visit.

These highlight experiential and engaging event formats give participants a truly hands-on experience and full immersion in the visited destination. Divided into small team, the participants are given specific tasks connected to the learning goals of the program as they embark on their own exploration of the destination.

Enhance your knowledge, connect the dots

An inspiring session with a speaker taken form our ISP network of industry insiders, policy experts and seasoned business professionals that serve to deepen the understanding of key trends. A session, always followed by a discussion, takes place at a carefully chosen venue arranged by ISP, allowing the speaker to focus on a selected topic or share their broad industry experience without limitations.

A moderated discussion examining different perspectives on a particular topic. Complemented by extensive Q&A, this format allows students to further enhance their understanding of key trends in the visited destination by comparing diverse viewpoints.

A multi-format event that is arranged in cooperation with a local university or business school that equips participants with research-backed insights on a complex topic. In certain cases, the event can be enhanced by a workshop activity or networking session with local students.
Engage
Apply what you have learned

Local start-ups share their stories and invite students to delve into their business models and challenges. Students then reveal their best practices, plus offer advice and recommendations to help the entrepreneurs improve their businesses.

Participants work in teams to discuss a real-life problem a local company faced in the past. The teams work together, applying the freshly gained knowledge to solve the case and then present their ideas to the company representative and/or faculty. The solutions are then compared with the steps the company actually took.

Similar to the case study format. but more hands-on and more impactful, flash consulting presents participants with a challenge a local company is currently facing. Unlike a full-bodied consulting project, flash consulting does not need any preparation time, the brief on the company and the project is an integral part of the event followed by a brainstorming roundtable session or group work.

A concept that gives students the chance to work with a local NGO and make a real mark in the host country by actively helping the community. This highly rewarding experience often opens students’ minds and boosts both their collaboration skills and emotional intelligence. Besides welcoming hands-on assistance, NGOs, may also commit to a consulting project where students bring business acumen and organizational skills.
