From Legacy to Economic Leadership

Africa’s rising global relevance is backed by scale and momentum. The African Continental Free Trade Area is projected to form a $3.4 trillion unified market by 2035, positioning the continent as the largest free trade area in the world. Agriculture is expected to reach $1 trillion in annual output by 2030, and the continent holds 30 percent of the world’s proven critical mineral reserves, placing it at the center of global supply chains and the energy transition.

For students and faculty, this creates a powerful experiential learning environment where economic integration, infrastructure development, and business innovation can be examined firsthand, all while experiencing culture and history set against extraordinary landscapes.
