Large-Scale Global Learning:
A Dual-Destination, Large-Cohort Case Study
CLIENT:
ASSIGNMENT:
13-day study program to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Singapore | April 12th-24th, 2025
78 Executive MBA students + 4 faculty members
CLIENT BRIEF:
This group participated in a two-track, dual-destination program designed to immerse students in real-world business environments aligned with their academic studies either Global Business or Management of Technology. Through visits to Vietnam and Singapore, students experienced business contexts markedly different from the US, gaining firsthand exposure to regional economics, business practices, culture and evolving technology landscapes.
Each track followed a tailored academic pathway focused on its specific discipline, while shared cultural experiences brought the cohort together throughout the program.
Our Approach:
This program was one of the largest cohorts of the year, requiring careful coordination across both logistics and academics. The presence of two distinct learning tracks demanded meticulous planning to ensure each pathway met its specific objectives while maintaining a cohesive overall experience.
-
We worked closely with faculty to develop two distinct, yet parallel learning tracks, each aligned with specific academic goals and disciplinary outcomes. While the tracks followed separate academic pathways, shared foundational sessions and curated cultural experiences were intentionally built into the program to maintain cohort cohesion. Convergence points were carefully timed throughout the itinerary to encourage cross-track discussion, peer learning and the exchange of perspectives
-
By delivering the program across two contrasting business environments, Vietnam and Singapore, students gained a broader and more nuanced understanding of global commerce and business as a whole. Each destination offered distinct economic, cultural and industry contexts, reinforcing academic concepts through comparison and real-world application. The dual-destination structure deepened learning by allowing students to observe how business strategies and market dynamics shift across regions.
-
With a cohort of 78 students, this program required a thoughtful approach to scale without sacrificing quality. The large group size created a dynamic learning environment, enabling diverse perspectives, rich discussion and peer-to-peer learning. Careful planning ensured that students remained engaged and supported, while the size of the cohort enhanced networking, collaboration and the overall program experience
Please note that this example is drawn from our portfolio to illustrate our capabilities. Every program and project we deliver is fully customized, with each element tailored to align with your unique goals and objectives.
